About The Chef

Chef Dan Nester and his culinary team are responsible for the preparation of Cala Bella’s exquisite selections. As a Florida native, Dan entered the culinary field at the age of 15, gaining experience through training with various top chefs in both Orlando and Atlanta. In March of 1996, Dan joined Rosen Hotels and Resorts at the Rosen Centre, working and managing all of the property’s culinary areas and specializing at Everglades Restaurant. Dan prides himself on his simplistic and rustic cooking styles enhanced with big flavors.
